Between the lightning, rain, hail, and losing power, I'm not getting any blogging done!
Or much of anything else, for that matter!!! Both these pictures were taken from the house today. Afternoon showers can be a good backdrop for a good book and a hot cuppa tea.

I surely understand about the weather...seems every day or for sure every other day we are getting thunderstorms...so far the lights have gone off but quickly back on...The sun will be shining brightly and hot as heck..then out of the blue..darken clouds...thunder..lightning arises..then rain rain rain...the worst part is after..the darn humidity..ewe..sticky....lol..but..still thankful it's just normal thunderstorms so far... Ok then Taylor..thanks so much for the beautiful pics and enjoy your day and keep dry...smile...

We all could use some rain - here on Sat. it was 110 - we set a new record for a high this early in the year - but today is 92 and lovely - but rain would be good. The valley needs the water for growing here in California

Hi Taylor, I love a good down pour and thunder and lightning add excitement. I sit in our eat-in kitchen and watch it. I love reading and just plain calm on a plain ole rainy day. I hate to be away from home because it makes me feel so safe and cozy! Take care hon, Oscar Sue

Joey and I call this blackberry Summer ... We have a week or two of cooler weather just before July Fourth ... or July Fry ... if you are in South Carolina. We call it blackberry Summer because this is when the blackberries are ready to be picked.

We had storms all around us today but none came close enough to visit us. The audio was nice but we didn't get to see the pretty fireworks.
We have had a brief afternoon thunderstorm every day this week!
